Boomerang

The magic of Lake Eildon keeps bringing the next generation of families back to Lake Eildon time and time again; it is where those special childhood memories were made; their happy place. They are always drawn back, just like a boomerang.

Boomerang was built in 1987 and has undergone major refurbishment in 2020. She is bright, fresh, and inviting with the new composite aluminium used for the external cladding and eaves.

When you walk onboard you will notice the new decking and then the new flooring. The layout has been reconfigured with the main bedroom to the front encompassing the helm.

This enables the houseboat to have an open feeling with the dining area and new kitchen. This then flows into a side rear lounge entertainment space with large couch and the TV. This opens onto the rear deck with the important hydraulic duckboard. The bathroom has been tastefully redone and encompasses a laundry.

Rear external stairs take you up to the newly painted first storey level with new hardtop with composite aluminium ceiling and new guardwalls. The deck is in excellent condition. The full set of fly wire screens ensure you can sit up to the quality outdoor dining setting for an enjoyable BBQ dinner. You can just relax on the sun lounges sipping bubbles as you watch another brilliant sunset on the Lake.

Importantly the Solar Electrics have been upgraded with a new Victron Energy Multi-Plus 3000watt Inverter/Charger System; a Victron Energy Smart Solar Charge Controller and 10 Solar Panels. These feed 3 x 330amphr AGM Deep Cycle House Batteries. There is a Honda EU30is Generator to backup this system. Plenty of good power.

Boomerang has the main bedroom with a queen walkaround bed, a bunk room for the kids and a couch/double sofa bed for when there are guests.

Boomerang presents as a bright, fresh, and inviting holiday home on the water with all the major maintenance items under control. You can walk onboard unpack the bags and start relaxing. You will be coming back again and again to make those special memories with your family on Boomerang.
