This entails appropriate due diligence processes are put in place when you purchase a houseboat.
The HCHS Sales Office is located on the Lake’s edge, at the largest Marina Complex on Lake Eildon, at the Eildon Boat Club. From here HCHS services all Marinas on Lake Eildon with our Sales Boat. The HCHS Sales Office has extensive window display boards for houseboats listed with HCHS.
Our Director, Mike Dalmau, fell in love with Eildon in 1975 and has developed a deep passion for the place and its community over these years. Yes, you could say he is a local. Over this time, Mike has operated as a Small Business person operating and building successful local businesses (Golden Trout Hotel – Motel 1975 to 1987; Eildon Waters Holiday Park & Sizzlers Restaurant 1987 to 1999); then a number of opportunities under High Country Management Enterprises including 15 years as a Houseboat Broker. The longest serving Houseboat Broker on Lake Eildon.
Contributing and putting back into the local Community has always been a part of Mike’s life. He served as a Murrindindi Shire Councillor for 9 years including a term as Mayor. Mike was part of the team that setup Eildon Action. He has represented this area on many Business, Tourism & Community committees. Mike is proud of the 12 months spent as a Bushfire Case Manager after Black Saturday assisting small businesses recover in the Marysville are a. Many people know Mike’s voice as they listen to Good Morning Murrindindi on UGFM 106.9FM every Saturday morning (18+ years). Mike is currently President of the Lake Eildon Houseboat Industry Association. Recently Mike was appointed to the Regional Development Australia Hume Region Committee.
