Where are you located?

The High Country Houseboat Sales Office is located on the Lake’s edge, at the largest Marina Complex on Lake Eildon, at the Eildon Boat Club.   Google Map link.

Do you offer houseboat inspections?

Yes, we transport our clients and their families in comfort and safety when inspecting houseboats.  Normal process is you meet Mike at the Sales Office and Mike takes you on-board the HCHS Sales Boat to inspect the houseboats. It is great to take you out on the Lake to inspect the houseboats. Depending on the number of houseboats to be inspected this could take up to 2 – 3 hours.

Do you sell any other form of water craft?

Yes, we also sell powerboats, dinghies & jet skis.

What are your trading hours?

We are available 7 days per week.
Inspections By Appointment Only.

Weekends can be busy with appointments therefore mid-week appointments can be easier.

What happens if i find a houseboat i want to purchase?

If you find a houseboat that you wish to purchase, you make an offer to purchase through the Broker. Once an agreement is reached with the Vendor, the Broker will assist you through the process to make it as stress-free and seamless as possible. A Contract, with appropriate agreed conditions hen be drawn up.

Can you sell my houseboat for me?

Yes, please contact our Broker and Mike will organise a suitable time to inspect the houseboat.

How much is the contract of sale deposit?

Upon signing of the Contract of Sale a 10% deposit is paid into the Broker’s Trust Account.

Is there a settlement period?

Settlement is not like property and can take place within 7 days or as long as agreed to by both parties; within 30 days is most common practice. At settlement, the HCHS Broker will assist with the lodging of the Vic Roads and GMW Transfer forms.
